John Harford is a fine arts photographer, writer and musician living in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

His work often incorporates landscape, and elemental symbols. He delves into mythology, primitivism, history, and the social and psychological fringe through both still images, sound and multimedia.

He has taken his love of the ancient, nostalgic and esoteric and fused it with modern synthesis to create mysterious moods and atmospheres.

John studied photography and design at Richard Stockton College, New Jersey and then continued his graduate coursework at Maryland Institute College of Art.

He has taught in academia as well as a private consultant and designer. Currently he teaches traditional and digital photography workshops at The Photography Place in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. He also teaches multimedia concepts and processes at Raritan Valley Community College in Somerville, New Jersey.
